Gandhi-like philosophy meets Playboy-esque edgy-ness at nivio’s cloud
I was recently doing an interview with ETNow and CNBC – two leading News Channels in India and they asked me a question about describing our culture – internally we always had a cheeky way of referencing this but this was the first time we’d explained it to the mass media – and it was a telling moment when we did.
“We are a cross between Gandhi and Playboy…” and the Journalist looked at me… so I figured I should add some more texture; we have deep philosophy in our company but also have a really edgy / fun / naughty side. It’s this healthy quirky tension that makes us unique.
Look at what we did below with the apple in our launch (and we launched this as macWorld!) and then next to it is our recent internal video for Quarter 1 – themed “Dare to be Great – Dare to be powerful beyond measure.”
And if that doesn’t really explain what it’s like to be at nivio – here is our senior all star team dancing to “I’m sexy and I know it” at MacWorld in San Francisco when nivio made its launch announcement – building teams is about the right balance of philosophy, quirkiness and sex-appeal.
